Tiny Eden Pot Size Chart

If a Tiny Eden seedling exists at dusk and not at dawn, the pot was too small. Developers have said the demo should let you grow every listed plant. Players then documented that tomatoes want a chain of containers, not a single “place seed” click. This chart stores those volumes so you can shop before the despawn.

Always read the in-game plant info. It tells you when to move and to what size. This page is a backup for when you are in the shop app and cannot remember whether the mid pot was 3 L or 5 L.

Volumes that show up in public reports

These litre numbers come from Steam community tomato threads, not from a datamined 1.0 table. If 1.0 renames pots to “small / medium / large,” match by the plant card, then come back here.

Tomato chain (most documented)

Two working paths:

• 0.5 L → 3 L → 16 L
• small pot → 5 L → 16 L

Both end in 16 L. Both fail if you leave a seedling in the nursery for three or four days. The plant card is the trigger, not a calendar guess. Peppers were expected to follow a similar chain by the same growers.

How to transplant without making a mess

1. Buy the next pot before the warning, while the shop is open.
2. Mix the new pot’s soil to the card using the soil helper. Do not scoop the old mix if the new recipe differs.
3. Grab the plant (see controls for grab/rotate).
4. Move it the same in-game day. Soil bags left on the floor have despawned in old patches.
5. Water once. Do not fertilise “for the shock” unless the HUD asks.

If produce spawns stuck to the parent, that was a 0.5.1 bug. Update the demo.

Matching pots to the tier list

• S-tier herbs / strawberries — can live in smaller decorative planters if the card agrees. Still give them light.
• A-tier tomatoes / peppers — budget 16 L of floor. A pretty 3 L on a shelf is a stall, not a farm.
• C-tier watermelon / corn — wait for expansion space. A finisher pot plus a vine is a room, not a windowsill.

Companion planting needs depth more than width. Tomato + basil in one deep 16 L can work. Tomato + cabbage in the same 16 L is two plants sharing a famine. Split pots even when you have the litres.

Shop and money

Pots are a launch-week bottleneck. Do not spend the first cooked-dish payout on wallpaper. Buy the next volume on the how to cook paycheck. Bulk soil is cheaper than replacing a despawned tomato that ate three days of clock.

Drones can fill pots if the station has soil, but they will fill the pot you assigned. A drone cannot rescue a 0.5 L that needed to be 3 L yesterday.

After 1.0

If Bajka adds named planters in the Goodies Pack, those are skins unless the patch notes say otherwise. Gameplay volume is this chart. When Steam news posts a full container table, we will replace the community tomato path with official rows and keep the old path in a footnote.

Until 7 September, practise the chain once in the demo. A player who has transplanted a tomato is ready for launch. A player who only screenshots sunflowers is not.
