What 1.0 includes, and what the FAQ says comes after the apartment ships.

Tiny Eden Roadmap

Bajka Games has been unusually clear about two things: Tiny Eden will not launch in Early Access, and the studio intends to keep adding plants after 1.0. That is the whole roadmap tone. This page separates launch promises from “if it goes well” ideas so a mushroom does not look like a missing day-one feature.

Launch logistics sit on release date. Hardware sits on system requirements. Playable verbs sit in guides.

1.0 (7 September 2026) — promised

  • Full release on Steam for PC.
  • Single-player apartment sim, no co-op.
  • Around 40 plant species: microgreens, roots, flowers, berry bushes, plus the press-kit vegetables (tomato, strawberry, pea, herb, onion, pepper, cucumber, corn, watermelon, chili, cilantro).
  • At least 40 recipes. No fully custom recipe designer.
  • Sell cooked dishes, not raw crops.
  • Soil chemistry, NPK, four growth stages, companion planting, transplanting.
  • Room unlocks, balconies, rooftop greenhouse, furniture, cat.
  • Languages listed on the release date page.
  • Windows DX12 path; Steam page also lists SteamOS/Linux with Vulkan 1.3 mesh shaders.

If a store bullet disappears on launch morning, Steam is the source of truth.

Shortly after launch — stated intent

The FAQ’s future section:

  • Not Early Access. They already said no.
  • DLC, free updates, and major expansions including new plants, recipes, mechanics, and locations.
  • Mushrooms, vines, and trees if the base game goes well.
  • Steam Deck: FAQ yes; demo no. Expect a badge chase, not a silent miracle.
  • Native Linux: May FAQ said “looking into it.” The store tab is more aggressive. Watch patch notes if Proton becomes the real path.
  • Raw crop / seedling sales: explicitly “open to adding later,” not in 1.0.

None of that is a dated calendar. Do not pre-order your brain around a mushroom season.

Systems that look like a live roadmap but are already in tests

Drones, disease sprayers, pot climate add-ons, parcel boxes, and generated orders already appeared in playtests. They may ship in 1.0, in a week-one patch, or trimmed. Play the demo to see which verbs you actually have. Plan how to expand around rooms first, drones second.

Genetics as a cash-versus-research harvest choice is in the FAQ now. Expect more varieties over time; expect them to be luck-heavy.

What is not on the roadmap

  • Multiplayer or co-op.
  • A Roblox port.
  • A console announcement.
  • A Stardew-style town RPG.
  • Player-authored recipes.
  • Infinite outdoor acreage.

If a leaked slide claims otherwise, wait for Steam news.

How this wiki will follow the game

After 7 September we will:

  1. Confirm 1.0 plant counts against the plant tier list.
  2. Rewrite economy lines on how to cook if raw sales land.
  3. Add Deck/Linux results to system requirements.
  4. Keep this roadmap dated so “soon” cannot hide for six months.

Until then, learn the apartment you can already download. A player who understands how to grow will absorb new species. A player who only wishlists DLC will still kill their first tomato.

Studio and publisher links: links hub. Bajka is also building Beware of Light; that is a different game and does not change Tiny Eden’s plant list.

How to treat “soon” as a player

A cozy sim roadmap is only useful if you can act on it. Here is the practical split:

  • Play now: the demo, Getting Started, and the soil/pot tools. These do not wait on mushrooms.
  • Buy on 7 September if the demo clicked: $14.99 plus optional cosmetics. See release date.
  • Wait a week if you need Deck or Linux proof: the FAQ and the store tab disagree in tone. A launch badge is worth more than a May sentence.
  • Ignore for 1.0 planning: trees, vines, extra locations, raw-crop market stalls. Fun, not load-bearing.

If a content creator says “Tiny Eden is Early Access,” they are wrong. If they say “co-op is coming,” they are guessing. If they say “40 plants,” they are quoting the FAQ — still a target, still the number we use until Steam’s store tags change.

Keep this page bookmarked next to patch notes. Roadmaps without changelogs become fan fiction. Changelogs without a roadmap make every drone look like a surprise. You want both, plus the updates hub so you land on the right child page instead of rereading the same trailer caption.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Tiny Eden questions.

Will Tiny Eden get more plants after launch?

The FAQ says yes: DLC, free updates, and expansions. Mushrooms, vines, and trees are a “if it goes well” extra.

Is co-op on the Tiny Eden roadmap?

No. The game is single-player. Nothing public adds online or split-screen co-op.

Is Linux confirmed?

The Steam page lists SteamOS/Linux requirements. The May FAQ was more cautious. Verify on launch day.
